Hexen, or Hexen (N-Ethylhexedrone), is a synthetic cannabinoid that is classified as an artificial cathinone. Its psychoactive impacts are frequently associated with those of cocaine, including crack cocaine or constituents such as MVP that is present in several legal highs. Hexen is a research chemical that is an active ingredient in compounds of bath salts.

Description

Hexen is a psychoactive drug that was used previously for medicinal determinations, but today, it’s almost completely used as a designer drug for leisure purposes. Hexen is a stimulator new drug flakka belonging to the cathinone family of drugs. These drugs are supposed to disturb the reuptake of the neurotransmitter’s norepinephrine and dopamine and stimulate their release. The drug is frequently sniffed, smoked, or inserted by leisure users with sniffing and smoking. The other more prevalent method is ingesting by mixing with food or drink. Vaping of the drug is also done by battery-powered vaporizer that simulates smoking.  Hexen is a fleecy White, grey or yellowish powder; white, well transparent solid. It is tasteless or as an unpleasant chemical perception with an unpleasant aftertaste. The odor does not appear to disturb due to mild smell.

Chemical formula

Hexen N-Ethylhexedrone research chemical was first synthesized, defined, and collected with the other byproducts of aminoketone during an experiment by Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany in 1964 and then in the US in 1971. It was obtained by reacting active components of a racemic combination of a 1-phenyl-2- (lower alkyl-amino)-lower alkenone from moderately suitable and well-organized known chemical methods. The chemical composition of the Hexen is C14H21NO.

Uses

The effects of N-ethylhexedrone are projected to activate 2 min to 25 minutes after intra-nasal inhalation and oral ingestion, respectively. The extreme effects of this bath salt drug precede up to 2–3 hours though the effects are lessened by 4–8 hours.

• Hexen is frequently used for its optimistic psychoactive effects, such as encouragement and warmness due to dopamine release.
